Freelance Curator

Overview

The Bradford Police Museum is seeking an experienced Freelance Curator to design and structure a series of three volunteer-led curatorial projects, each delivered over a four-month period. These projects will strengthen the museum’s volunteer programme, build curatorial confidence, and create new public-facing outputs.

Deadline for Applications: Monday 15 December
Interviews: Monday 5 January (online)

  • A CV outlining relevant experience

  • A short supporting statement (max 1 page) explaining your approach to volunteer-led curatorial practice

  • One example of a relevant project, toolkit or resource you have developed (if available)

Volunteer Opportunities

Our museum relies on the generosity of volunteers to keep our doors open and our exhibits running. If you're looking for a way to give back to your community, consider volunteering your time with us. You'll have the opportunity to help us run events, guide visitors through the cells, assist the curatorial team, maintain collections, and be a friendly face at the front desk. We offer roles to suit all levels of experience, allowing you to develop your skills and contribute your knowledge. Join us and become a valued member of our team!
