We’re Back on Fridays! Museum Reopening – Friday 5th September

Since May, we’ve sadly had to close our doors on Fridays due to volunteer shortages. Thanks to a fantastic response to our recent recruitment campaign - and the help of so many people who spread the word far and wide - we’ve now welcomed over ten new volunteers into the museum family.

Our newest recruits are currently training alongside the Saturday team, learning the ropes so they can help us offer our full Friday opening once again. We’ve missed seeing visitors twice a week, so this return feels extra special.

We are deeply grateful to all our volunteers - both new and long-standing - for their incredible dedication. Whether they’re leading tours, supporting special events, researching and developing exhibitions, or keeping our shop stocked with exciting and relevant merchandise, their hard work ensures the museum can continue to share Bradford’s rich policing history with the public.
