We’re thrilled to announce the renewal of our partnership with the National Literacy Trust as we enter our second year of participation in the Goldsmiths 500 Writers Programme!

Last year, our involvement in the programme brought over 360 students from six Bradford schools through our museum doors. Working with children aged 6 to 7, we developed a bespoke workshop designed to inspire creativity and build confidence in the classroom. Our volunteers were truly energised by the experience, helping to bring history to life and encouraging a new generation of young writers.

This year, we’re excited to build on that success. The next phase of the programme will focus on children aged 7 to 8, and we’ve already begun developing a new version of our educational workshop to meet their needs. With expert support and guidance from our partners, we’re creating an experience that challenges, engages, and sparks imagination in older students.
