National Volunteer Week is just around the corner, and here at The Bradford Police Museum, we're preparing to celebrate the incredible people who give their time and energy to make the museum the special place it is.
Our volunteers are at the core of everything we do - from welcoming visitors and leading tours, to helping with research, events, and behind-the-scenes tasks. Their passion and commitment help bring Bradford’s policing history to life for everyone who walks through our doors.
To recognise their contributions, we’ll be launching a month-long social media campaign, beginning next week. Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing stories, photos, and profiles of our volunteers - offering a behind-the-scenes look at the people who make our work possible. We hope you’ll follow along and help us celebrate their incredible efforts.
While we honour our current team, we’re also looking to grow it. The museum is always in need of more volunteers - whether you have a love for history, enjoy meeting new people, or simply want to support your local community, there’s a place for you here.
To our volunteers - thank you. You are the heartbeat of the museum, and we appreciate you more than words can say.
Follow our campaign on Facebook & Instagram and discover what makes volunteering at The Bradford Police Museum so special.
