Bradford Police Museum is part of Good to go

Thank you for booking your visit to the police museum. There is some important information below that you need to read prior to your visit.

Prior to Booking

Filming and Photography: Photography is allowed in the museum with the exception of one area.  However, filming is not allowed without the permission of the museum by prior arrangement.

Due to demand for limited spaces available, we are not able to offer refunds.

Prior to arrival

Please make yourself familiar with the below information.

Please do not visit the museum if you feel unwell or you have Covid-19 symptoms.

Please note there are no toilets in the museum so please make sure you visit the public toilets if necessary, in City Park.

When you arrive

An initial Health and Safety Briefing will take place and your group will be allocated a guide.

During your visit, please stay with your guide at all times and follow their instructions. There will sanitiser stations at various locations in the museum if you wish to sanitise.

You will also be asked not to touch anything in the museum during your visit unless told to do so by museum staff.

Face Coverings

Whist Covid restrictions have now been removed we advise wearing a face mask whilst touring the Victorian cells as it is a confined space.

Our staff are ready to help

Throughout your experience in the museum, you will meet several of our friendly staff. All our staff will be trained to uphold our safety procedures and will be happy to answer any questions or note any suggestions you have.

We ask all visitors to be considerate of each other and of our staff.

We hope that you enjoy your visit and look forward to seeing you in the museum.

There is wheelchair and pushchair access to the gallery and the cells. However due to the existence of steep steps the court room cannot be accessed by wheelchairs or pushchairs. For those unable to access the court a video presentation is available.
