About the event
The courtroom is open, the jury is waiting, and one famous fairy tale is about to be turned upside down...
Join the Bradford Police Museum for a hilarious interactive courtroom adventure where children become the jury in the trial of the century.
Did the Big Bad Wolf really blow down the Three Little Pigs' houses? Was he trying to eat them... or has the whole story been misunderstood?
Meet colourful courtroom characters, hear witness testimony, question the evidence and listen to both sides of the case before deciding the Wolf's fate.
Will justice be served... or will Wolfy McWolfFace walk free?
We have two showings for this event taking place on Saturday 15th August.
The first showing is 11:30 to 12:00
The second showing is 13:00 - 13:30
Perfect for families with children aged around 5–11, this fun, laugh-out-loud courtroom experience introduces young visitors to how a real courtroom works through storytelling, audience participation and plenty of surprises.
This production has been written by Ann Morgan, and performed by The Museum Players

What to Expect
The Trial: 3 Little Pigs v The Wolf is an interactive courtroom experience performed by The Museum Players inside Bradford Police Museum's original Victorian courtroom.
Please don't worry if your child is a little shy - there is no acting or speaking required. Jurors simply listen to the evidence and cast their verdict at the end of the trial.
Each ticket admits one child aged 5 to 11 to take part in the trial as an official jury member. Every child will be invited into the courtroom, where they will hear live witness testimony from the Three Little Pigs, the Big Bad Wolf and other courtroom characters before deciding the verdict.
Each child ticket also includes admission for up to two accompanying adults. Adults will be seated in the public gallery, with a clear view of the proceedings and within a short distance of the children throughout the performance.
The production lasts approximately 30 minutes, although we recommend allowing around one hour for your visit. This allows time for everyone to be welcomed into the courtroom, for children to settle into their jury seats, and for visitors to enter and leave the historic building safely.
There are two showings of this production, so please do make sure you note which time you have selected below.
Accessibility
Please note that the courtroom is located on the upper floor of the museum and is accessed via a flight of steep Victorian steps. As this is a listed historic building, there is unfortunately no step-free or wheelchair access to the courtroom. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause.
Unfortunately, we do not have any toilets in the museum.
Your Visit
This event ticket includes admission to the interactive courtroom experience and access to the museum's gallery.
Please note that guided tours of the Victorian police cells are not included with this ticket. If you would also like to explore the police cells, guided tours can be booked separately in advance via our website.
We recommend arriving 10 to15 minutes before your allocated session to allow plenty of time for check-in before court comes to order!
